Are you religious? Do you like Easter?

This week is very important for the Christian people because they commemorate the birth and death of Jesus, the son of the God. But, from my humble point of view. When we speak or think about Easter , we are speaking about religion or faith. And I think that faith is something that you have inside and it's not necessary to show the rest of people. For this reason I don't understand very well the concept of Easter.

There are many ways of celebrating this festivity in the world. We are going to comment the most known.

The Philippines: This is the most polemical in the world because every Good Friday one hundred of pentitents are whipped and ten people are crucified and one of these ten will be chosen as the representant of Jesus. And they will represent the Biblical history of Jesus.

Spain: The most known is in the south of Spain, in Andalucia. Exagerated easter, where many people participate in it. It is celebrated with different floats in Holy Week procession, with statues representing parts of Easter Story where many people participate carrying it,or as penitents. The most important of this easter from my point of view is the enormous value of the different sculptures, which have been made by true genius.

Italy: In a Sicilian locality called Trápani is celebrated “The theatre of the misteries” Wheres is represented the arrest, the agony and death of Christ.

Israel: The origin of the easter, because this is the place where all the events happened. Eleven days of celebration where you can attend to different activities as the blessing of the olive branches and the pilgrimage to different places.

Southamerica: We can stand out important places Colombia, Peru , Mexico and Guatemala. They have inherited the Spanish tradition.

In Colombia and Peru and Guatemala is very similar to The Spanish Easter, but the particpants belong to families which have participated in this tradition for ages and is very difficult to participate if you are not a member of these families.

In Mexico is very curious the representation of the arrest with soldiers and spies ride by horse where they look for Jesus from one house to the last house.

Different Types Of Veil

Have you decided to use a veil but you don't know what size choose?. Don't worry, i'm going to explain you the different types of veil that exist in the market and which is the most appropriate choice.

Fingertip veil is more suitable for the brides on the heavier side, if they are keen on shorter length veil.

Waltz length: This model was very popular in 1800's and 1920, they are very classic and elegant. The veil falls to touch the floor or just an inch above the floor, according to the length of the wedding gown. This veil will accentuate the femininity in you.

Chapel length: This is classic, elegant and sophisticated. As per the tradition, the length of the veil must be similar to the train of the wedding gown. However, it is not hard and fast rule. In fact, 108 inches in length, the chapel veil creates a soft romantic and graceful look, even if the gown falls pretty well on the floor without a train.

Cathedral length: 144 inches long, cathedral veil is one of the most elegant and classic yet cumbersome type of veils considering the length of it. The bride needs the help of the bridesmaids to lift it while walking and to place it while standing or getting the pictures clicked. The modern brides prefer shorter veils to be comfortable throughout the ceremony to enjoy the most special day of their lives. But, if you can carry it, cathedral veil is the most picture perfect and beautiful veil to wear it on your wedding. It's very typical to find it in royal weddings.

The Veil

Before introducing in the world of the veil, we are going to discover the origin of the veil and why it has become an esential complement of many brides. The veil has also a relevant moment during the ceremony. When it is risen. The groom is the only person who can rise it. As we told in the review about the colour of the dress, where we discover that there are many colours according to the culture or the election of the bride. With the veil happens the same. In some cultures used the veil to transmitt messages. For example the yellow veil was a virginity proof, while blue in honour to the Virgin.

Round Faces

In the previous review, we were explaining another kind of face shape. And, this time is the turn to explain the round faces.

First of all, I'd like to start explaining that is another kind of face. It does not imply to be overweight. Only, it's other face shape. In fact, you have to bear in mind that many classic round-faced women are super-skinny and still have non-angular features.

If you have a round face, the width of your face at your cheekbones is roughly the same distance as the length of your face. You likely have soft, non-angular features and chubby cheeks. A great option for round faces are long layers. Keep hair longer than the chin and ask for long layers cut into hair. And of course, you should avoid slick back styles without hair touching your face. Love Is In The Air...♪♫♪

As it sounded in the song, love is in the air. And now is the moment for speaking about love. Many people go crazy with the Saint Valentine's day. Although from my humble point of view, this day is not a love party because love is like a plant, it takes time to grow but when you stop caring for it, it slowly dies. And Saint Valentine's Day is only a day. Moreover its origin was commercial. If we stop to think, what we do on Saint Valentine' s Day, is to give a present or detail our love, don't we? Therefore, we can only show our feeling this day. I prefer thinking that everyday of the year is Saint Valentine, like in the movie The Notebook, I still remember when i watched it, I couldn't stop crying. It's so beautiful!!

Anyway, the most important thing is to respect the ideals of everyone.You decide if you want to celebrate your love this day or the rest of the year.

Finally, I want to take this opportunity for sharing the sweetest demonstration love which I have ever read.

“I worked as a teacher at a school and I taught several children”. One of them asked:
"Teacher, what is love?".
And I felt that the child deserved an answer as high as the question which had formulated For answering I had an idea and I proposed to bring something which considerated love from the playground.
When they come back, I asked them to show me what they have brought.
The first student said, "I have brought this flower,it is so cute,isn't it?
The second student said: "I have brought this butterfly, watch the colorful wings I will put in my collection."
The third student added: "I brought this pigeon that fell from its nest, it is beautiful, isn't it?
And so the boys, one by one, they placed what they had gathered from the playground.
After several explanation and objects,I noticed that one of the girls had brought nothing and had been in silent all the time, and I couldn't avoid to ask: Why haven't you brought something?
Haven't you found anything?".
The girl shyly replied: "Excuse me, teacher I saw a flower and smelt its parfum,and I thought to pull up but I preferred to keep their scent longer. I saw the and colourful butterfly fluttering in the playground but it seemed so happy that I hadn't the courage to imprison, and I also saw the fallen pigeon, but when I climbed the tree, and I noticed the sad gaze of its mother, I decided to return to the nest. So, teacher,I have brought with me the parfum of the flower, the sense of freedom of the butterfly and the gratitude which I saw in the eyes of the mother bird. But my question is: How can I show her what I have brought? ".

The teacher thanked the student and gave her the highest mark, considering
that had been the only one able to perceive only what love can bring into our hearts.
So, remember: love is not take, pull up,capture, force, win or lose. "Love is love, is to
remember, is to enjoy and to dream, is to be free and to let others feel free. "

Square Face

     How many times have we watched a hairstyle that we have loved but in our face is horrible?

     The wedding day, we want to shine in one's own right, so the best idea is going to go to the hairdresser and she advice us. But, we can take a certain advantage if we know which are the hairstyles according to our face. We will focus on a certain style, to make the most of our possibilities.

     First of all, we are going to focus on in the different shape of faces.Today we are going to focus on the square face.

Square Face

A square-shaped face is strong, square jaw line and usually an equally square hairline. Wedding Traditions

We have always listened to our elders saying “If you are going to get married, you can't forget wearing something blue, something old, something lent and of course something new”. But, why?It is an old tradition where every aspect has a meaning.

Something blue: The origin of this tradition comes from Israel, where the bride wears in her hair a blue ornament, which represents fidelity. In England, it is said “those wearing in blue have true love.” In other countries is used in a blue garter, because in the Secession War was a virginity symbol.

Something old: It is used for showing the sense of the continuity in the life. It represents the family and friends ties. The customs will be the same, only we will adapt to the new changes. The old symbolizes our life which left behind. It is very common to use a familiar jewel.

Something new: this means the hope of the best future. The new always represents a change and the renew of the spirit. It symbolizes the new life whish starts. It is normally the dress, the underwear.

Something borrowed: It symbolises the friendship. It is used a jewel, a handkerchief... It refers the old superstition that happiness can come from someone who is happy.
