Heart-Shape Face

Finally, we are going to end this cycle of reviews, where we have analyzed the different hairstyles according to your shape. For it, in this ocassion, we are going to analyze the heart-shaped faces. They tend to have wider foreheads and a jaw line that tapers downwards to a narrow (in occasions “pointy”) chin and mouth.

If you want to slim the width of the forehead can give volume with the hair in the part of the tempes. For it, it is convenient to use blunt tipped tufts on the chin or cheekbone short to give volume in the sides.

The ideal is to choose a style for creating volume around the bottom half of your face. If you want a long hairstyle, keep curly locks soft and loose and go for soft layers around the chin area, keeping layers cut as close to your jawline as possible. Avoid short, full styles that emphasise your upper face, and avoid too much height at the crown, as this gives the impression of a longer, narrower chin. Fringes will emphasise a pointy chin and side partings provide interesting asymmetry (it's up to you).

Round Faces

In the previous review, we were explaining another kind of face shape. And, this time is the turn to explain the round faces.

First of all, I'd like to start explaining that is another kind of face. It does not imply to be overweight. Only, it's other face shape. In fact, you have to bear in mind that many classic round-faced women are super-skinny and still have non-angular features.

If you have a  round face, the width of your face at your cheekbones is roughly the same distance as the length of your face. You likely have soft, non-angular features and chubby cheeks. You may think you have a more round face when you are overweight, but bear in mind that many classic round-faced women are super-skinny and still have non-angular features.
A great option for round faces are long layers. Keep hair longer than the chin and ask for long layers cut into hair. And of course, you should avoid slick back styles without hair touching your face. Try to avoid width around the sides of your face, this will make a false optical effect, your face will look like to be wider than normal. Flat bangs will only shorten your face. Try tussled or side bangs

Gentle waves also deflect the roundness of the face, so if you have natural wave in your hair (as most women do), allow your hair to do it. Scrunch hair as it dries so it retains some of its wave or help along the wave by wrapping hair around the barrel of a large curling iron for a loose curly hairstyle.

If you have short neck and round face, the ideal thing is to brush the hair and to hold it up of the nape, to the half of the head. You can leave some free locks to give them movement. Also you will be benefited by the very soft waves, which are in use very much nowadays. Not to use the stripe to the way, put on the stripe to the side or do not do stripe to yourself.
