  • The horse tail: It is one of the most popular hairdoes, as watched in catwalks. You must wear it very high and in its different modalities: classic, disheveled, curled. You can also complement it with headbangs, crowns, tiaras or another kind of ornaments.

Wedding Traditions

We have always listened to our elders saying “If you are going to get married, you can't forget wearing something blue, something old, something lent and of course something new”. But, why?It is an old tradition where every aspect has a meaning.

Something blue: The origin of this tradition comes from Israel, where the bride wears in her hair a blue ornament, which represents fidelity. In England, it is said “those wearing in blue have true love.” In other countries is used in a blue garter, because in the Secession War was a virginity symbol.

Something old: It is used for showing the sense of the continuity in the life. It represents the family and friends ties. The customs will be the same, only we will adapt to the new changes. The old symbolizes our life which left behind. It is very common to use a familiar jewel.

Something new: this means the hope of the best future. The new always represents a change and the renew of the spirit. It symbolizes the new life whish starts. It is normally the dress, the underwear.

Something borrowed: It symbolises the friendship. It is used a jewel, a handkerchief... It refers the old superstition that happiness can come from someone who is happy.

If you follow all the traditions you will have a very lucky marriage. Are you a tradionalist or do you prefer creating your own traditions? Tell us.

Be Creative My Friend

Have you ever listened this famous Bruce Lee' sentence? One of the best ideas, for saving money, could be create our own decoration. For it, we will start with the most significant ornaments, flowers.

In Greece and in Rome ,the sweethearts (couple lovers) wore flowers around their neck which  symbolized the new life, hope and fertility. These collars necklaces were made of herbs and spices, because thy thought the strong smells owned mystical powers and with them, they could dispel the bad spirits.

A few years after, the knights who participated in the crusades, watched in the brides who lived in the mountains. They were made of orange blossom, which was a purity symbol.
In 1840, when the Queen Victory got married Prince Albert of Sajonia, were used  edible flowers, as calenduda (known as lust herb), and after the bride and groom and the guets ate during the wedding.

Nowadays , we use different flowers and forms. But, before choosing your wedding buquet, you should take into account the colours. Why? Because they must combine with your hair, skin and eyes, your bridal dress... But the most important, you have to remember that every flower has a meaning. So, what do you want to say?

Elegance: Acacias.
Purity: White Lily.
Love: roses. White Rose: dignity; red roses beauty ;
Calm, peace: Rose without thorn or azalea.
Loyalty: Veronica
Blue violet: confidence …

Now, I'm going to show you an easy way to make your own wedding bouquet:

As you watched, this could be a very personal and easy way of making your own wedding bouquet. It is used, tools that all of us we have at home. Only one difference, the satisfaction of the result. But, I advice you to practise before wedding, better safe than sorry.

And last but not least, we can't forget the decoration of our tables.

It can be a more laborious job, according to the number of guests that you have. But you cab take benefit of it,phoning your familiar and asking their help. You will share a beautiful moments.

Wedding or Mortgaging?

Money, money and much more money. Probably, if we think about a wedding 20 years ago, it will be very different from a current wedding. In the last years, when we think about a wedding implies a series of expenses, such as: Dress, rental car, hotels, bridal memories, travel and wedding photographers…But, it is not true.

We are going to show you different ways of celebrating your wedding without the necessity of mortgaging.

The most important thing is to focus in your priorities for celebrating an unforgettable wedding. One of the most important priorities will be saving your money. Remember! Luxury does not mean a best wedding.

Basics aspects to take into account:

Compare: Once you choose your priorities, you should look for the best price.
Guests: Adjust your money and invite the indispensable guests.

Bride dress: Internet offers you a great quantity of low cost designers. You cantake a glance in ebay.

And last but not least,
The celebration: This is the most expensive items in our budget. In many occasions, we have imagined our great day going in a limousine to a luxury hotel, with a band of music, and much more details. But it is not the most important. You should remember what you are celebrating with your loved ones, a very special day for you, and the place is not so important, but the event. For this reason any place could be the best one. You can prepare a picnic, a day in the beach, or any other idea.
