How to Organise a Bachelor/Bachelorette Party?

Yes, it sounds incredible, your best close friend has just told you he/she is getting married, and from that moment you are thinking you want to organise the best party in the world. But, it's the first time I am going to prepare this kind of events and I don't know. Wait a minute! Relax.

It's something hard but it is worth the effort, you are going to organise an event which is going to be remembered all his/her life. For that reason you will have to take into account many details. I am going to make a reference of things you have to bear in mind to prepare it!.

1.The planning:
Choose the day, the place, the money you are going to need and the different activities which you are going to do. Structure the time. But remember if you don't accomplish with the schedule, it doesn't mind. The important is you enjoy with the party.

2.The date:
Please don't do it before the wedding day. It's a better idea to fix, for example a pair of weeks before. One idea is to do a survey with all the meeting attendees for fixing the date. In this case we can take advantage of the technology. You can use facebook , iphone applications (QpixL ). This application is great because when you finish you can publish the results on facebook or twiter or android applications (form vote).

3.Bride/groom personality:

This is the most important thing you have to take into account, although you are organising the party, is not for you. According the personality of the bride/groom you can opt to do the different things.

4.Uniform/costume:
Choose the cloth you are going to wear. Or the costume the bride/groom is going to wear. One idea could be, if you decide to disguise the bride/groom, this will adapt the personality of their character.

And remember, don't annoy much the bride/ groom because you can be the next.

5. Photos:

Remember to carry a photos camera to immortalize the moment.

And last but not least: Enjoy!!

Tell Me Your Body And I'll Tell Your Wedding Dress

                                                  Source: http://www.glamcheck.com

If you are reading this article, you have realized the shape of your body is very important when you choose your clothes. Even if you have decided to be right, let me give you some advices.

First of all we are going to distinguish the different bodies that there are, and the different features has each one to identify which our shape is.

1st Triangle/Pear Shape:

If you have this kind of body the width of your chest is proportionately narrower than your hips. You typically have narrow shoulders. The bottom half of your body is generally fuller. (Hips, thighs, butt)
As you know you must avoid narrow clothes in the bottom half of your body, because they can give the imprresion that youhave extra weight. If you use pleats, they must be from your hips.
The best option will be an empire wedding dress. If you choose the drapped top and the skirt bell-bottomed will stand out your curves with delicacy.

2nd Hourglass Shape:

The bodies with this kind of shape will have the measurements of bustline and hip-line equals with a well defined waist. The top and bottom halves of your body are equal.
The best option for you will be a strapless gown with lace beadwork. It will adapt you on your hip and straight skirt.

3rd Rectangle Shape:

The measurements of bustline and hip-line are equal but they have little or no definition to the waist. Slim legs and arms and the appearance of having no hips.
All the dresses will fit you, but the best option will be laced/flounced/pleated/gathered gowns. You must avoid tight-fitting dress because it will stand out your absence of curves.
A greek tunic could be another option.

4th Inverted Triangle Shape:

Large bust and broad shoulders are proportionally. Narrow hips and slim legs.
The best option willl be to focus on the skirt, please try to be simple in your top.For your skirt you should use assymmetric skirts.

Wedding Dress

 Source: Maggie Sottero RubyCollection

When we think about a wedding, we try remembering the white wedding dress. But, do you know the origin? And why do we choose this colour?

Although we bear in mind that brides always wear white dress. It is not true, because we have to take into account the different ages and the different cultures. We are going to revise the different changes in the history.

In the Greece culture the brides wore yellow dress.

A  lot of years ago, in Rome the brides got married with the same tunic, that they used the rest of the days but they added a purple veil ornamented with flowers.

In germanic villages, the brides wore a long and black tunic with a red cape.

In the Middle Ages, they wore red dresses with golden decoration, since they symbolozed their status and power. On the contrary, in the Reanissance the colour was not important at all, but it has to be embroidered with pearls, jewels and diamonds.

The muslim brides wear black tunic as a purity signal, while chinese and indian brides wear red dresses.

The wedding dress was white from the ceremony of Queen Victory of England in 1840. She wore a spectacular white dress, which set the trend in fashion until now.

The meaning of the colours in wedding dress:

Souce:http://www.brides.com

The white colour: peace, purity, happiness and inocence.
The blue colour: Love will always be true.
The yellow colour: To sorry of your fellow. The red colour: the bride wishes her own death.
The pink colour:Your spirit will be sunk.
The green colour: Ashamed of being seen.
The brown colour: You will always live in the same place.
The black colour: You will wish yourself back.
The grey colour:You will go far away.
The pearl colour: You will live in a whirl.

Although we have all these colours, I am very traditional and my favourite colour for a wedding dress is white. And you, what is your favourite colour? Tell us.
